Baby Tyler's Birth

Travis and I were blessed with Tyler Bruce Nichols on May 8 at 6:46 pm.  I am just now getting to blog again.  Thanks to Betsy who updated with photos last weekend.  We had a long day of labor on Saturday that ended up in a c-section that evening.  Tyler's heart rate was not tolerating the contractions, he was facing sunny-side up and had his cord wrapped around his shoulder.  Needless to say, God was watching over us and delivered a sweet, healthy baby into our arms.  We could not be more joyful.

Welcome, Sweet Baby Tyler!!

Tyler Bruce Nichols was born today via c-section at 6:46 PM.  He weighed 7 lbs 1 ounce and was 20.5 inches long.  Mama Katy and Tyler are both healthy and doing well.  I promise to post pictures if I get any from Katy or Travis!

Katy and Travis, your friends rejoice with you over Tyler's arrival.  We are all so blessed by your friendship and will be equally blessed watching you as parents.  We all thank God for you and celebrate that the two of you have now become 'three'.  We love you!

Baby Eve

We are scheduled for induction tomorrow!  Travis and I can't wait to meet our little guy.  We celebrated tonight..our baby eve..last night to be without kiddos.  We went to dinner in Boerne at Cypress Grill, one of our favorite, (not so kid friendly) places.  We had a wonderful dinner and are now back home getting our things together for the hospital. We will check in early in the morning and get things started.  I am a little nervous to be the patient since I am usually on the other side of labor and delivery.  We'll see how I do!  We are so thankful for all of our family and sweet friends who have covered us in prayer throughout this pregnancy.  We are excited for what God has done and look forward to what He will do through the life of little Tyler.  "Come and see what God has done, how awesome His works in man's behalf!" -Psalm 66:5

39 Week Update

I am officially ready to have Baby T!  We went to the doctor on Monday and I am 3 cm dilated and baby's head is low...so anytime now!  We just need some contractions.  She is guessing his weight to be around 7 1/2 to 8 lbs right now.  Travis and I are so excited and we can't wait to meet him.  It's like waiting for Christmas.  Will keep you updated on our progress in labor!
