Barnyard Birthday

We had such a great time celebrating Tyler's first birthday!  We celebrated on Saturday, May 7 with family and close friends with a barnyard birthday in our backyard.  We had a petting zoo---brought to us by dad, the vet--with a pony, bunnies and baby goats!  All the kids had such a great time with the animals.  Tyler loved seeing the animals before the party, but was pretty tired when the party started!  I had so much fun planning, baking and decorating for the party.  Pappy brought cowboy hats and bandanas for us to be in the barnyard spirit!  Thanks to all the family and friends that helped make this day so special!

On his actual birthday, Sunday, May 8 we started out with birthday breakfast, birthday candle and gifts from mom and dad.  We had lunch with all the grandparents, aunt and uncle!  We had a great time celebrating T's birthday and Mother's Day.  We ended the day with a sno-cone in Boerne, Tyler loved it!

To our sweet Tyler- you have brought us so very much joy over this past year.  We love you more than you can know.  We thank our God for you and pray we would point you to Him.

Enjoy the photos--this will be a long post!

Tyler's First Birthday!

Today we celebrated Tyler's first birthday!  I can't believe it has already been one year---once again time has flown by.  We are overwhelmed with God's blessing at this milestone.  Travis and I have tried to savor each moment this weekend.  We celebrated with birthday breakfast, lunch with both grandparents, aunt and uncle, napped and ended the day with his first sno cone! His birthday party was on Saturday and I will devote an entire post later this week for pictures of the party.  Here is the video we made of Tyler's first year...
