All Aboard for Santa Fe!

We went to Santa Fe, New Mexico to celebrate Bruce's 65 1/2 birthday.  We had such an awesome time and LOVED the cool weather.  So nice to have break from the August heat in Texas!  I was very nervous about the plane ride with the boys, but they really did well.  There was a party on Saturday night that many of Bruce's close friends and family attended.  On Sunday, Patsy hosted a brunch at Vanessi's with Doug Montgomery playing the piano.  We loved this, Tyler had so much fun with all the music!  Thanks so much to MeMa and Grandpa Bruce for taking us!

Headed home...

Log Country Cove 2012

We went to Log Country Cove on Lake LBJ this weekend with my family.  We had the best time!  We stayed at the Flying V cabin which was absolutely gorgeous.  It is a log cabin with all the comforts of home.  We had a pool and spa that looked out onto the lake and the pool was really shaded so even though it was August it didn't feel super hot!  It was so fun to have the cousins together-- they will be all over the place in a couple of years!  Tyler loved playing in the pool, swinging, playing in the sand on the beach volleyball court and catching his first fish.  Mason and Cade (my nephew) enjoyed a little pool time but mainly eating and sleeping:)  We pre-planned our meals so we didn't have to go anywhere...so relaxing!  We ate ALOT and we ate WELL...everyone brought tasty dishes!  What a special time, thanks mom and dad for taking us!
