Father's Day & Baby Dedication

We had an amazing weekend with lots to celebrate.  Travis' first Father's Day is first on the list.  We started the morning with a yummy Father's Day breakfast of Berry French Toast and breakfast sausage. (This was my first time to really cook:)  Tyler gave dad his gift of a book in which he marked with his footprint.  Travis got a new swimsuit from me.  Tyler and I are so thankful to have such an incredible man in our lives to lead our family.  I am grateful for Travis' love for the Lord and his love for us!  After breakfast we headed to church for our parent/child dedication. We dedicated ourselves to raising Tyler in a godly home and to be his spiritual trainers.  We know this is an enormous task and are thankful for all the support of family and friends that surround us.

Picketts Come to Boerne

My best friend since A&M, Betsy, and her family came to see us and meet Tyler on their way to the coast.  It was a sweet reunion and the first time for them to meet Tyler.  Travis and I got to see their son, Caleb, for the first time in a long time and he has grown so much.  We always enjoy time with the Picketts!  Thanks for coming to see us!

Uncle Colby & Auntie Em Visit!

We had the pleasure of having our sister-in-law, Emily come to visit last week.  She came in on Tuesday to spend the week with us, then Colby came for the weekend.  Tyler loved his Auntie Em time.  She was awesome company for me and a huge help with Tyler.  Over the weekend we went to the pool, relaxed at the house and played washers.  We had a great time with our sweet family!

Tyler is One Month!

Our sweet boy is one month old!  The time has flown.  He now weighs 7lbs 14 ounces.  We are so thankful for our time together.  Here are a few photos of the past month.

My mom and Travis' mom each came for a week after Tyler was born to help us out.  They were an amazing help to me..couldn't have made it through the first couple weeks without them!  They helped out with everything from cooking and cleaning to changing diapers and baby laundry.  Tyler loved his time with his two grandmothers.  Thanks mom and Patsy!

Coming Home

We were very ready to leave the hospital 3 nights and 4 days later!  We were escorted out by the friendly Bluebirds (volunteers at hospital).  We were greeted at home with balloons, flowers, and yummy food.  Thankful to take our little prince and introduce him to his new home and his puppies!
